Harder to find style made without thumb latches Highly decorative pattern made of cast bronze with original two-tone finish Both are identical, each has one mounting hole on top and second on bottom, they have reversible handles and date to around c.1875 This is the only set I have seen where Russell & Erwin marked their logo on the face of the handles rather than the back. At first glance it looks like a small area is missing the decoration Tried to show this in one of the pictures Measure 9-3/8" x 2-1/2" wide. Handles are off-set with 1-1/2" clearance between handle and plate. This off-set was designed to keep your knuckles from hitting the jam
